Garlic Butter Shrimp

INGREDIENTS


1 pound shrimp brown raw headless shell-on 21-25 count block wild caught

2 tablespoons peeled garlic

1 tablespoon olive oil blend 80/20

2 ounces salted butter solid usda AA

8 fluid ounces Sprite soda

2 tablespoons of kosher salt coarse flake.

1 tablespoon ground black pepper

½ each lemon

¼ ounces green onion iceless 


DIRECTIONS

1.  In a skillet or shallow pan, melt butter, then add the olive oil and minced garlic.


2. Once the garlic is aromatic, add the Sprite. Simmer for 3 to 5 minutes until the liquid is reduced by half.

3. Add the shrimp and cook through.

4. Add salt and pepper to taste and transfer to a serving platter. Garnish with lemon juice and sliced green onions.
